In 2013, a group of seasoned professionals from the hotel and tourism industry banded together to create Oriental Ballooning. They were driven by a shared passion for adventure and a desire to offer visitors to Myanmar an unforgettable experience. With the guidance of Gone-with-the-Wind ltd., the company set out to purchase brand new balloons from Cameron Balloons, Bristol UK, the world’s largest balloon manufacturer.

Since then, Oriental Ballooning has become a household name in Myanmar’s tourism industry. The company’s balloons are a regular sight over the ancient temples of Bagan, soaring high above the stunning landscape.
